The Official Book is full of original illustrations of major events in the Three Kingdoms period, along with never-before-seen information about characters and charts depicting their relationships to one another, all centered around the grand story of the new "DYNASTY WARRIORS," told from the perspective of a single protagonist.
The Original Soundtrack includes the 20 original tracks that have been arranged for this title.

Dynasty Warriors: Origins has a surprisingly variable story for a game that starts out so straightforward. In Chapter Three, players are directed to choose to side with one of three major factions: the warlords that'll eventually develop into the kingdoms of Wei, Wu, and Shu, founded by the descendants of Cao Cao, Sun Jian, and Liu Bei respectively. In effect, they'll have to take sides between three characters, all their former friends and allies they've grown close with over the course of the game.

The gripping tale of a ‘nameless hero’
Dynasty Warriors: Origins follows the drama surrounding China’s Three Kingdoms period, from the Yellow Turban Rebellion to the Battle of Red Cliffs. At the beginning of the game, the protagonist gets caught up in a battle with Guan Yu against the troops of corrupt officials. The Yellow Turban Rebellion was never portrayed in detail in previous installments of the series. Still, this game goes into depth around the origins and woes of the Yellow Turbans, as well as the perspectives of each general belonging to the defeated troops.

Gameplay: The gameplay is a mix of hack-and-slash and strategic elements; Players control the main character, but can also command soldiers on the battlefield. In addition to the main character, players can choose another general as a companion. Various weapons and other character customization are available.

Development: This game is the first new addition to the series in seven years that is not a mobile game. It was developed to take advantage of the PlayStation 5 hardware. The developers planned to display 10,000 soldiers on screen.

Overall, "Dynasty Warriors: Origins" is a fresh and exciting addition to the series, offering a rich experience for both fans and new players.
